Last month, Little Junebugs and Original Kids by Tanya Alexis decided they needed to do a project together. Two weeks later, we launched our first HeArts & Crafts Event. The HeArts & Crafts Event will occur once a month on a Saturday or Sunday. You can find out more details and future HeArts & Crafts dates on the Little Junebugs website under heArts. I am thrilled to by working with Courtney & little junebugs on heArts & crafts. I look forward to sharing more with you after the next one. 🙂
Information about Pablove Shutterbugs:
Pablove Shutterbugs is the signature program of The Pablove Foundation. In an educational setting, the 8-week program allows children living with cancer to express and develop their creative voices through the art of photography. Each child receives hands-on experience through a mix of one-on-one weekly instruction and group classes. The students also receive their own camera equipment, which is theirs to keep upon completion of the program. Once a year we celebrate the students’ photographic achievements and raise awareness of childhood cancer with a Pablove Shutterbugs group show at an art gallery. We also offer photography workshops and a week long photography summer camp for children living with cancer.
The Pablove Shutterbugs program currently reaches children in Los Angeles and New York City.

I fell in love with Sophia the first time I met her back in 2009 during an instore promotion with Janie and Jack. I secretly hoped her parents would contact me again. 🙂 A few months later, I was asked to photograph Sophia’s first birthday. It was a beautiful day after a long week of non-stop rain. Since our first meeting I have become good friends with her parents. Every session is fun and carefree. Sophia has a very strong will, and it is a pleasure to watch her grow into it.
A few months ago, Kristine mentioned they were expecting another child. It was a delight to have the chance to photograph her family again. It is a good thing we had the session when we did, because their little one arrived three weeks early (less than a week after our session)!
I cannot wait to meet her!
In the meantime, here are a few favorites from our maternity session.

I recently received a client’s album from Cypress Albums. Once again they outdid themselves. I asked them to do something that they had never done before (circles on the album cover), and they made it look as though they had been doing it for years. I cannot wait to show my clients their beautiful albums.
Cypress Albums you all rock! Thank you for helping me create beautiful keepsakes for my clients.

I have been looking forward to meeting this family since I first spoke with Grandma S back in September. This weekend was extra special, because little B’s uncle was in town. They don’t get to see each other too often, but little B LOVES his uncle. B was a delight to photograph. He has heaps of personality, and he had no problem showing it off during our session. I had a wonderful time with the entire R Family. It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. 🙂
Below are some of my favorite images from the session…
