I am thrilled to have partnered with a wonderful children’s store on Abbott Kinney in Venice, CA.  Elizabeth and her staff were a delight to work with!  We worked together for the Venice Art Walk, and Tales & Toys had a drawing for a Simple Portrait Package.  I am really looking forward to meeting the winners!

They have a great selection of toys, including lots of Eco-Friendly ones.  They have these fabulous travel puzzles in re-sealable pouches (brilliant!), too.  I am most taken with their African Dwarf Frogs.  If I did not have a very smart and resourceful cat, I would definitely have some in my home. I must stare at those little frogs for about 20 minutes every time I go into the store.  They are the perfect gift.  You get 2 frogs for $25.  They live in their own little eco-system specifically designed for them.  You only need to clean the water 4 times a year, and you feed them twice a week.  They never get bigger than they are when you buy them, and they are aquatic so they never need to leave their little world.  Coolest thing ever!  I first laid my eyes on them back in February, and I am still talking about them three months later!
