S and Her Rockin’ Hair… | Los Angeles Child Photographer
October 25, 2009
This afternoon I met little S, her lovely parents, and their two dogs (Linus and Snoopy). We tried to get S to fall asleep, but naturally she was having none of it. I had a lot of fun photographing her and her fantastic head of 6-week old hair!
Here are a few favorites from the session….
lil’ J’s First Photo Session | Los Angeles Child Photographer
October 24, 2009
I had a lovely morning photographing little “J” and spending time with his parents (dear friends of my boyfriend). “J” was a bit fussy for the first bit, but as soon as his bow tie tshirt went on, he was as happy as a clam. If I didn’t know better, I would even say that he started posing for me! His dad played the Ukulele (or as Hazel calls it, an “Uncle-Lady”) while his mom played the Squeaky B.
We even got a couple of shots of “J” in his father’s vintage J-200 case. I had a lot of fun this morning, and I am looking forward to showing his parents all of the photographs soon 🙂
Here are a couple favorites…
I have been working on these for a while, and I am very excited to announce that starting today these 4 Good Friends are now available for purchase (individually or as a set of 4). Each one comes in a custom Maple frame. I am completely in love with these frames, and I am now using them for all of my child photography as well. Each friend also comes with a story about how the 4 met. It is a really fun story written by the very talented Phil Hurley. I personally feel that Phil may have missed his calling as a children’s author 🙂 I want to send a very special thank you to Tamsin, one of the owner’s of Wee Soles. She helped originally come up with the idea of photographing vintage toys when I came in with my picture of Sophie. Thank you, Tamsin!
Yesterday I spent the early afternoon with Hazel and her friends for her 5th Birthday. Her mom made delicious a delicious red velvet cake, and per Hazel’s advice, it was iced with pink frosting 🙂 I am in the middle of a lot of work at the moment, but I wanted to take a minute to put up a few that I loved.
Happy Birthday Hazel!!
What a wonderful experience! Here are my personal favorites from my last day. A big thank you to all of the families that gave me permission to post these on my blog (and possibly on my website)!!
Day 2 was a busy one!
Here is a sneak peek of some of my personal favorites of the day.
I have had the pleasure of working with Janie and Jack and Precious Time Photography for the instore promotion.  I have been meeting lovely families!  I have also been using all my energy photographing the children, so please excuse the very brief entry 🙂
Here is a sneak peek for the parents who gave me permission to post an image of their children on my blog.  A very happy birthday to two twins I met yesterday!
