I wanted to take a quick moment to write about IrisBooks (http://www.irisbook.ca)
I recently received my sample albums, and I am thrilled with them. They are beautifully hand bound linen books (although you do have the option to put an image on the cover). There customer service is top notch. Since this is a high quality product, it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for the order, but it is definitely worth the wait! The colors of the albums are just gorgeous, and I believe they are going to be adding plum in the near future.
I am excited for Friday! That is the day I will be giving my clients their beautiful IrisBooks. I can’t wait to see their faces as I hand them these beautiful books. The sample books are a slightly fancier version of the IrisPure books. IrisPure has black end papers and no stamp on the front.
Little Cuties…. | Los Angeles Child Photographer

Granted I am a bit bias as these are my boyfriend’s nieces and nephew, but their cuteness never ceases to amaze me. 🙂 Every time I have a roll of half used film that needs to get developed, I ended up shooting them to finish out the roll. Here are a few of my favorites from last week…
The Lovely Kit and Paul | Los Angeles Child Photographer
August 10, 2009
I had the pleasure of spending the last four days in at the Dreams Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico with Kit and Paul as the celebrated their wedding. Kit and I have been good friends for a while now, and I have been really looking forward to this day. She and Paul are very much in love, and it was a pleasure to be a part of such a beautiful and fun wedding. The bride and groom ended up in the pool before the night was out (fully clothed!!). I had such a wonderful (yet sweaty and exhausting!) time photographing their wedding 🙂 Here is an early sneak peak of the images to come to come. I hope you all had a great weekend. Congratulations, Kit and Paul!!
I finally received my business cards today. They were designed by the lovely gent, who designed my logo, Dan Gilkey (http://www.dangcreative.com), and they were printed by Carrie of Anemone Letterpress. Carrie also has a store front at etsy which carries her beautiful notecards. Check her out if you have the time (http://anemoneletterpress.etsy.com/ or http://www.anemoneletterpress.com). I am thrilled with them. They are exactly what I was hoping for! Carrie, thank you so much for all your beautiful work!!

Love seeing the pictures. Feels like they capture the essence of being there. I’m sure Kit and Paul will be so happy to have these memories in your photos.
