Month: August, 2012
Saturday’s session was awesome. There is no other way to describe it. Seriously.
Here is how the session went down…
Dancing to Ramones (there was some singing by little L)
Very Cute Little Club House
Cartwheels by me, mom and dad | Somersault by L
Gnomes & Gnomes on Turtles!
Swings (although, sadly I did not get to swing)
Hanging with a Giant Bear named Nose
Thank you for a wonderful shoot!
A dear friend and very talented photographer (Atlanta Based Alice Park) referred the E family to me. I am honored to have been trusted with one of her families. :)
I understood why Alice adores them so much as soon as I met them. They are a beautiful family. It was a delight to spend the afternoon with them and photograph their daughter’s third birthday. There was m&ms, cake, dancing, singing, playing, and cotton candy. There was face painting too! Below are a handful of my favorites from that day.
Delicious Cake by Hansen’s Cakes
Party Location Giggles N’ Hugs
I had a wonderful afternoon with the M & S Family on Sunday. I don’t photograph teens (or almost teens very often), so it was a pleasure to have the people I was photographing, listening to me.
Below are a few of my favorites from the day.
C’s best friend B came along for the shoot. B came to the shoot dressed and ready to have a couple of shots with C. :)
All in all a great session. There was racing, swinging, mud eating, fountain splashing, and fountain bathing. :)
Last month, Little Junebugs and Original Kids by Tanya Alexis decided they needed to do a project together. Two weeks later, we launched our first HeArts & Crafts Event. The HeArts & Crafts Event will occur once a month on a Saturday or Sunday. You can find out more details and future HeArts & Crafts dates on the Little Junebugs website under heArts. I am thrilled to by working with Courtney & little junebugs on heArts & crafts. I look forward to sharing more with you after the next one.
Information about Pablove Shutterbugs:
Pablove Shutterbugs is the signature program of The Pablove Foundation. In an educational setting, the 8-week program allows children living with cancer to express and develop their creative voices through the art of photography. Each child receives hands-on experience through a mix of one-on-one weekly instruction and group classes. The students also receive their own camera equipment, which is theirs to keep upon completion of the program. Once a year we celebrate the students’ photographic achievements and raise awareness of childhood cancer with a Pablove Shutterbugs group show at an art gallery. We also offer photography workshops and a week long photography summer camp for children living with cancer.
The Pablove Shutterbugs program currently reaches children in Los Angeles and New York City.
